GOALS FOR 2006
- Maintain
membership at 300
individual/family/commercial paid members.
Increase membership in the American Hosta Society to 25 members of MSHS.
- Raise
$3,000 for the society through fundraising programs.
- Set
aside $1,500 of funds raised for major
investment in the Hosta Trail.
- Develop
and gain Memphis Botanic Garden approval
of a Hosta Trail landscape plan, including
signage.
- Maintain the current extent of the Hosta Trail, pending plan approval.
- Have
at least 50 members participate in
each meeting.
- Continue
the 2-3 year process of gaining Display
Garden certification by the AHS.
- Explore
opportunities to develop a highly visible
hosta display at another public facility.
